Has anything good ever come out of the US?

Because all I can think of is: muggings, shootings, misogynistic and homophobic rap ''music'', psycho killers, drug wars, oil wars, racism, neo-colonialism, loud brash morons who have completely ruined the English language (''so I was like yeh whatever, and he was like kindof like you know sooo totally cool- not!'' like, like, like), and of course the biggest goon, corrupt liar and war criminal of all time - George W. Bush.

So come on, name me one good thing that's come from the US. And no, Mcdonalds and Coca-Cola do not count.

Hahah I agree. I'm American and I want to leave the country as soon as I can. I just don't like it here. I'm expecting a lot of thumbs down, but I don't really care. There's so much violence and hatred here. More so than any country I have ever been to. It's even gotten to the point when there are conspiracy theorists claiming that the US government caused 911. It's ridiculous. I can't live somewhere where that's even something that people are thinking about. It shouldn't even be an option. I agree with you on the language part too. People can't spell anymore. Your and you're are suddenly interchangable (extremely irritating) and people worship idiots like Paris Hilton, Hilary Duff and so on! College is no longer a measure of intelligence in this country! Bill Gates dropped out of college and George Bush graduated from Yale. What does that say about us?

A lot of great things have come out of the US.

The assembly line, the telephone, the phonograph, Coltrane, Springsteen, Gershwin, Twain, Emerson. The list can go on and on and on.

We are an active and diverse country. Our diversity is mostly our strength, and occasionally it is our weakness.

And a history lesson for you ... Racism and crime have been around since before recorded history in just about every society. The English language is a conglomeration of several different languages, so it can not be considered all that pure to begin with. And if you the Bush is bad, read up on the ancient Roman Emperors.

So give us a list of ALL the wonderful things that your country has contributed to the world! Every place has it's problems. I wonder why the Royal family is still worshiped and adored. They are no more than figure heads but you hang on their every move. The best, brightest and certainly most attractive person in 100's of years to be a member of that family was Dianna. If it weren't for Bill Gates you probably wouldn't even be on the net. He certainly came from the US. We don't have to wait in line for months and suffer needless pain to have our gallbladder removed like you do with socialized medicine. Also our medical technology is cutting edge and sets the standard for medicine. You picked out a few things that you don't like about America and then insinuated that those things are what America is about!!LOL! Psst, the Revolutionary War is over, we won, get on with it OK!

I agree with everything you say except Bush being the "biggest" war criminal. He is as you say but small time as it goes. Go to the library or if you have any relatives as old as me , just ask them!

As to your question, one good thing that came out of America was many thousands of good men, twice in the last century, who died in the fcuking dirt so that ignorant little cnuts like you should have the freedom to say what you do.
