what colleges in NEW York and in Florida can i get a degree to become a reporter?

You would major in journalism or communications. Fordham, NYU, Syracuse all have excellent programs. Columbia's graduate journalism program is also terrific.
The University of Miami's School of Communication is one of the best in the country.
