If you are taking them in a second by second energy usage it would be wrestling. However, Boxing is the hardest in order to complete one event of it.

I asume you're talking H.S. or college wrestling so i'm gonna say wrestling..pretty much constant motion until the ref resets the wrestlers and you're using strength and that takes alot of energy. football you have time after the play to reset and catch your breath. and boxing for the most part your bobbing and weaving the most exertion comes from throwing punches.

I believe boxing takes the most energy, because it requires all different forms of physical training.

Football b/c there are no time outs, you have to run for 45 minutes straight, and half time is only 15 minutes. If you go into overtime its even harder on the body. Plus have you seen the form these players are in??
