i think so because i bought 12 new state of the art mp3 players and tested them, and guess what finished last, the ipod 5th generation, all the other players had far better software, firmware, acceptable formats, features, and exchange between computer on the player(itunes sucks), the player that finished 1st is the wolverine mvp, im not trying to spam or anything, but i didnt have time to make a chart of all 12, so i am comparing the worst to the best, check out this link before you answer

its every difference between the wolverine mvp and ipod fifth generation all within a chart, and as u can see ipod only gained popularity through commercial advertisement, the only thing really has to offer is size and a few small things, i think you know which is better

iPods are a HUGE rip-off becuase they have alot of technical problems and stuff like that. I recommend just getting a regular MP3 Player

A lot of the reason that they do so well is the same reason that MS Windows sells so well. Marketing and advertising. Easy interface for basic use (emphasis on basic!).
It isn't the best overall, but it does it's job well, it's cute, and it's got a ton of accessories.

I think iPod's are definetly high ranked. I rank them 10/10 but that is because I love Apple and all they have done for me and my family. They have given us lots of discounts and such so I would never go against there products. I just love em!

I pods do suck i owened one and it replaced into terrible. ITunes never worked.additionally, they never final long sufficient. I very own a wolverine mvp and its dazzling. Its completly extra perfect. don't get I-PODS.
