Solid for the most part, you could improve power and starting pitching. Weakness is speed, but I wouldn't rush right out and destroy anything just yet. Build on your strength first because even your strength is not overpowering.
Here are some stopgap suggestions that should get you through the first month:
Drop Kennedy, pick up Chris Burke, he has 2B/OF eligibility and can help with SB's.
Drop Laird, carrying a back catcher is not good to begin with but he is even a back up on the real team. Pick up Chris Duncan, St Louis OF - he hit 22 HR's last year in 90 games playing part time-At full time this year he can produce 40, you can only play him against RHP.
I would do it before AABB07 figures it out.....

Khalil Greene just has to go, you already have an issue at SS and Khalil is an injury risk and his avg. is not improving. You might even want to consider dumping both SS and taking a chance on Troy Tulowitzki in Col. If given the chance he could help your SB numbers a little. Trust me, no matter which SS you dump, they will still be on the waiver wire if you need them.
Unless you are married to Chad Tracy frop him and take a chance on Edwin Encarnacion, he will be the starter this year and could improve your power numbers as well as steal 15 or 16 bases. It's not like your were going to play Tracy over Zimm anyway - and if Edwin responds to hitting in a better position in the order he could produce 100 RBI's and 20-25HR's - playing 50 more games last year, his BA and OBP took big jumps and he can only benefit from getting a full time job at 3B.

Here are the top four starter candidates to consider:
Chuck James, Adam Wainwright, John Maine, Jason Jennings,

Your fantasy team could become a playoff team if you make a few changes. First of all, drop Adam Kennedy and pick up Iguchi. Iguchi is going to do much better than Kennedy. Second, you are going to have to find someone with some SB and a high AVG. You have little speed on your team and you only have 3 players with a batting avg over 300. Try to trade away one of your top notch closers for someone like Juan Pierre. Honestly, you could make a deal to the "Rangers" including Jenks and Pierre and others. "Rangers" can give up an OF and you can give up a closer. Now, if you can't work out a trade with them bc they are stubborn or regard all of their players as gods, you could pick up almezaga. You could grab Almezaga and drop Green. Overall, if you do not make any changes, you are a 6 team, but if you use my suggestions, you could easily improve to an 8.5 and playoff club. Good Luck!

your team is decent, but I see a huge lack of power and a weak outfield. I would try to get Gary Sheffield or Hideki Matsui because they both were injured last year and are both good hitters. Also, i would try to get brian roberts or hanley ramirez to solve your SB issues. Do some research, find some sleepers to help your team
Pitchers: Great relievers, don't have to change a thing relaly except i would get backup for Prior. Hes such a huge risk, with an awesome upside, but is so injury prone. Howie Kenderick is gonna be the suprrise player of this year. Good luck

and change your name!

Top hitting free-agents i found in your league:

Ty Wiggington - Had a strong season last year, and shined in Cantu's absence. Look for another strong showing with increased production. Plus he has 4 position eligibility.

Mark DeRosa - Another player with 3 position eligibility, always nice to save roster spots with people like these. And look at the numbers he put up in Texas, imagine what he can do with an ever-improving Cubs lineup. Huge upside.

Casey Blake - I loved Casey Blake at the beginning of last season, but injuries plagued him and never recovered to 100%. Hold back, but keep him on your watch list, he has the potential to shine as bright as Sizemore.

Chris Duncan - Only played half the season last year, shined in Pujol's absence. I went to HS with this guy, and i know first hand the type of power #'s he's capable of.. don't hesitate to add this player to your roster, he WILL NOT disappoint.

offense: you have some serious lack of power issues, your outfield is especially weak, and you will not do well in the area of average or speed. as you seem to lack any basestealers.

pitching: you are very strong at the closer position and your top two pitchers are very good. but after that you are rather weak. you should have drafted more starters. prior might not even be in the majors, and duke is a wildcard.

options: pick up both dave bush and bartolo colon while dropping kennedy and greene. then offer to trade one of your closers for a top notch offensive player, one who can offer some steals and power.

Peralta sucks. Kearns goes from Cincy, one the best hitters parks in MLB, where he barely puts up decent #'s to WAshington, a really tough hitters park. I know he was traded mid season but hes just average. You need more starters for sure. YOu will not contend if you keep this team like this.

once you supply your strengths, make certain their strengths concerning the activity you're utilising to. once you're utilising for a practise position, say your potential is operating heavily with human beings and helping them understand issues, or persistence. once you supply your weaknesses, make certain their nonetheless strengths, yet no longer inevitably interior an identical field. once you're utilising for a practise position, say that your weak spot is that you do not do properly on the phone and prefer face-to-face interplay; or in case you want to nonetheless placed a weak spot that applies for your activity, yet makes you nonetheless look large, say something like you imagine you artwork too a lot or you're your human being worst critic. both route you're taking, do not fall into the seize of pointing out the particularly worst issue about you concerning the activity - you've then given them a reason now to not employ you. reliable luck!

i think your team is solid with having Pujols, Peavy, Hamels, Nathan. your weakness is speed. In rotiserrie leagues every category is important, esp SB's A player like Juan Pierre, Hanley Ramirez, or even Ichiro would make your team more solid.
