I have been in a LDR with a man for three years. I thought we were really serious, I met his children and spent Christmas with him and his family (he is divorced with 4 children). He has been divorced for 4 years and we have been together for 3 years. We live apart and see each other every three weeks for about 5 days. We committed to being exclusive and told each other we love each other but also have decided that neither will relocate. Now I just found out that he is cheating on me. He has been seeing another girl long distance for six months and they get together once a month also. Could he really be committed to me and just be using her before he commits to me and relocates or was he not ready to get into a relationship with me so soon after his divorce (there was no separation period b/f the divorce was final? I am so confused, I really love him.

if he cheated on u and he still did it for six months no he dosent love u because its not like if it was a one night thing but he had everything plant from the start. for example he wants u far so he can have other people aswell and how u are telling the story it sounds to me that he likes having long distance relationships because he had u both like a couple of miles a way from him so he can plan how to see u guys.. i would imagine that he might have someone else aswell. i suggest for u to move on because now that u know he has cheated on you now u will throw it to his face everytime and thus causeing problems beetween you guys.. good luck with everything

Long Distant Relationship or not. And me is is in one. Unless an arguement was worked out bye you 2 before this got serious me says kick him to the curb. If he cheats once, you think for one minute he won't again??
Why would he let you meet his children? That to me is a no=brainer me dear. He's playin a game with yer head and quess what?? Yer leting him. Kick him to the curb before you end up with either an STD and/or a broken heart. STD's maybe be curable most times. Aids isn't!! An yes broken hearts heal but they hurt like hell.
Get out while you still can with yer pride intact and yer heart relativily undestroyed please

If there are no plans to relocate, it's difficult to see a real relationship. Is it possible that he wasn't ready to commit?
My husband and I met online. He moved so that we could be together.

Its sounds like you know the answer already. I hope you are not thinking about staying with him. If he did it once he will do it again. How did you find out ? Did you catch him or did he confess ? Hopefully you can get over this guys who obviously doesn't respect you or you relationship. I wish you nothing but the best. Been there, done that.
