don't look at it as making a complete fool of yourself... look at it as being a unique individual who is not afraid to take riskse. It's about being comfortable in your own skin and not worrying about what other people might think.
Besides, life is much more fun that way... both for yourself and those around you!!!

No, neither one would suit me at all. Making a fool out of yourself might be dropping your undies and mooning them all
(your mom would rather you not do that) but feeling depressed about not mooning them is also a problem.

Who is in your life and bothering you right now? Someone is making you feel bad about yourself. There are ways to handle that or deal with it. Everything is not up or down, black or white, be a fool or be popular. Life is somewhere in between for us all. Concentrate on how to stay away from them or get along unnoticed. You are as important as anyone else and there is room in this world for you too!! @8-)

I'm in the try and make a fool of myself mode, and used to always be in the "depressed later" mode. I'm not sure yet which one is better, but I will say that you get used to making a fool of yourself. If I had to pick I'd say that I'm happier that I actually tried, even if it went bad sometimes. I think the good things which have come out of being a fool are worth it.

You know how I handle that?? And I can give you the benefit of YEARS of making a fool outta myself . Right after you realize you have made a fool of yourself, you immediately cope to it..make a statement like.."well, I guess I just made a fool outta myself" and laugh. Or now a days I just say "that was a stupid thing I did" or said. And just shake my head. And it works..because you admit to the fact that you made a idiot outta yourself which takes the fun outta other people telling and or making fun of you.If you don't make a idiot outta yourself don't say nothing.

Definitely try. I used to be too scared to try stuff, and I wasted time, which I could have spent enjoying if I had asked (this is in relation to whether I should have asked my now boyfriend out or not, waited half a year, then he asked me out! Still felt like a fool for not asking, but now I'm happy!). I grabbed fate a couple of days ago, too, and it turned out great!. Hope it helps :)

Might just as well be shot for a goat as a sheep as my grandfather always said. At least then you know you tried

Always try, just laugh it off if it doesn't work. Life is short.
