It depends what you mean by flirting. I always try to pay a sincere compliment to any female I come into contact with, The other day I admired the jumper the female in the petrol station kiosk was wearing and she really perked up to think that someone had noticed, and proceeded to tell me she had knitted it herself. I have had lots of friendly reactions and it is a quite harmless practise.
