the nano is smaller and weighs less than the iPod.

The Ipod nano is firstly smaller. The Ipod nano also uses flash memory over a hard drive which has no moving parts so is not effected by motion, compared to the Ipod which does use a hard rive and can be damaged or skip by movement. The nano also has a much smaller screen than the regular Ipod. The Ipod nano also lacks the ability to display any video or exclusive Ipod games, which the Ipod only can do.

Big diffrence.,,
the ipod nano is like 1/5 of a normal ipod vedio
the ipod nano ranges from 2gb-8gb and does not play vedios
the ipod video has 30 gb model and 80 gb model...
Its a lot...
if u want one, get the nano, but u can use the 30 or 80 gb as a HD or vedio player which can be connected to a tv!
