The iPod is about a stylish as Ford Cortina, and the Zune is *worse*. They're both crippled by being tied to specialised software, and it's no coincidence that 90% of the questions on here are about iPod problems.
To be honest, the Zune is just a bad clone of the iPod, with a couple of extra features. They're as bad as each other. Save yourself some money and buy an mp3 player that has a drag & drop interface instead of forcing you to use software that will be completely incompatible with any other type of player.

IPod has bland styling and the earbuds suck but once you adjust the sound, buy a nice colorful case, and get some better earphones....the 30 GB with video is the best there is...excellent battery life and no problems with audio files loading...I owned the Rio Carbon 5GB and Philips 2GB...they had better downloading/uploading processes...and /or special features like a duration counter...but Apple has refined it's look and sound many times.

my answer will be no ipod or zune
just buy creative .... trust me u cant go wrong with that one
ipod has just a better design and form factor . If u want reliability and more features ( BANG FOR UR MONEY IN SIMPLER TERMS ) get the creative one
dnt trust me just go to their respective websites and compare urself ....

Although the Zune may be technically capable, it has all the style of a tweed jacket with elbow patches. Also, I'd trust Microsoft about as far as I could throw them.
