You shouldn't keep a wet diaper on a baby more than 2 hours at a time. Even if there is only a little urine, It can cause infection and a rash when it sits against the skin for a long time. If there is absolutly no urine what so ever, then the diaper can stay on until the baby has gone to the bathroom. Nightime is a little different. But as soon as the baby wakes, you should immidiatly change the baby and clean the area well with clear water. I would say during the day 2hours, at night, until they wake up, but change straight away.

I don't know the answer exactly, but I do know that my son reacted badly to keeping any disposable on him for extended periods of time except sleeping. During the day they consume liquids, so I wouldn't leave it on very long. It depends on your baby. You should be able to tell when he/she gets cranky and needs a change. As far as night time, if the baby sleeps thru the night and doesn't seem uncomfortable or get a rash, just change him/her in the morning immediately, what also helps is to wash his/her skin with a wash cloth (not wipes they have alcohol and will react to urine that has been sitting on skin during the night). Hope this helps, my son could not tolerate certain brands either. Huggies were ok though.

Depending on the age of the baby. Newborn should be changed no less than every two hours, more often probably. The older they get they can go as long as four hours as long as they are not wet or dirty. Use your own judgement and when in doubt change the baby, diapers aren't that expensive.

All depends, my daugther sleeps all night and I don't wake her to change her diaper, she has it on all night long. During the day I change her when she feels really wet. I don't change after the first pee, she has a few pees in it. There is no real time line as to how long a diaper can stay on, just remember if its wet and staying on a long time, it can cause diaper rash. Use your own judgement.

Interesting question. 12-13 hours max at night. When it gets wet but not wet enough to leak during the day (all kids are different). My experience with huggies though is that they leak faster than pampers cruisers (2 pees and they are done)!!.

They should be changed as soon as you notice they are wet. The only possible exception being night time.
For a newborn, you'd need to change every two hours or when the baby wakes up. They usually don't sleep long stretches.

Just go by the wetness or other activity in the diaper. I wouldn't leave that sitting on the baby's skin, as they can get rashes very easily.
