a cat or a dog?

i have 2 dogs , a lovely black lab who is 6 and a cute little cavalier king Charles spaniel puppy!
but i do miss my old cat sweetpea! she was the sweetest most adorable cat ever!!!

A cat, simply because They don't need training, they can be left alone within reason, you don't have to pick up any poos if you have a garden, they don't make much noise, they don't smell (unless they are an unneutered tom marking his boundaries, which does not include your home). I have three.They have a cat door and all I do is put down food. They are affectionate and sleep on the bed with no disturbance. They need a lot less vetinary attention too. I do like dogs, but to be fair they need a good walk at least twice a day and to leave them alone is not kind.

A dog, I have 2, but when I was a kid we had dogs and cats.

I love them both, but right now we have 3 cats, no dogs. Our house it too little for a dog right now.
Cats are so easy to take care of, you can leave the house for the weekend and not have to take them with you, just make sure they have plenty of food & water.

definately a cat...they are less demanding. though that said I do love dogs just don't have the time to look after them. cats take themselves for walks so therefore easier.
