my friend just got a boyrfiend and she hasnt had one in 4 years. and now she thinks she wants to get married to this guy in the future. (shes 23) but shes not like... "experienced" in dating. so for her birthday i thought i might get her a book about dating tips or something like that?

do you think thats weird to get a book about dating for a friend? or is it ok? or like how would you feel in her situation to be getting it? or do you have any other ideas on what to get her? or any suggestions on good dating books if you think its a good idea? and we are really close friends

haha thanksssss

I would get her something else..then kind of mention to her that you read this really good book on dating, and see if she would like to borrow it.

I dont think you should do that. Worse case scenario she gets pissed and you lose a freind. You dont want that to happen. Doing that might show her that you dont like the guy she is dating and may give the wrong impression. I know you meen well, but you have to see things through her vision. what if you were married and she got you a book called "is this marriage good" how would you take that. Just think about what could happen.

I don't see anything wrong with it; it shows that you care for her.
