In all my years of peer counseling domestic violence victims I have rarely heard of a man actually owning up for being abusive. That would entail him conceeding that he is wrong and the reason he abuses is because of his inadiquacies not hers. The only time they do accept blame is when they have been through alot of counseling (or prison) and they understand why they did what they did.
