Our esteemed President Bush sacrificed his own Thanksgiving plans to be with the troops in Baghdad a couple years ago. Did you conveniently forget that?
What a disingenuous question! St. Patrick's Day is hardly a major celebration.
As for the Chicken hawk comment, let me tell you the true meaning of bravery, Missy.
If Bush didn't care so much about the welfare of our country, if he put his own ego first, he could hold a news conference this evening and startle the world by revealing that Saddam exported his WMD's to Syria. You can read the rather conclusive proof in the links below.
So, our brave President has to endure slanderous, irresponsible comments from people like you because he cares more about America's welfare than his own.
Is that brave enough for you?

Bush is not a chickenhawk and it is not necessary for him to go to Baghdad to support the troops. Normal people understand this concept.

He should spend EVERY day walking with our troops, to set an example. If the UK's Prince Harry can do it, so can the Sitcom President. Though he best wear a diaper, I'm sure the slightest pop or bang will upset him!
I'd alternately propose sending Cheney over there too, but the Grumpy Old Man is likely to blow away half our chaps as well as the enemy!

Did he enlist and volunteer to go over to Iraq? No, but the Troops did. If those Troops were drafted, I would be on your side; but they volunteered, Bush didnt.
