San Diego is a beautiful place. I live here and also lived in Coronado. If your looking for a choice of hotels in the Coronado area go this website:

www.ytbtravel.com/amazing
toursandtravel

On this website you can also book tour activities for Coronado and the San Diego area.

my family and friends use this travel website.

In the hotel search box, type in Coronado for the city name, your dates, click search and a list of hotels will appear including the beautiful Coronado Del.

Additionally, the hotels in Coronado between June and September fill up fast as it is a very popular tourist area.

Good luck and congratulations.

Del Coronardo on Del Coranado Island is wonderful and VERY Romantic! Try places in Julian too, that is close to San Diego but it is a town that has alot of wineries and Bed and Breakfasts!

Married 7 years and each year we stay a weekend at one of San Diego's "romantic" hotels. My wife and I like to stay at the major hotels that has everything. Each year we sit and decide which hotel to stay at and each year we always come back to the same few: Our choices:

1. Hotel Del Coronado
2. La Valencia in La Jolla
3. Manchester Hyatt Downtown
4. Estancia in La Jolla
5. Four Seasons Aviara in Carlsbad

These San Diego Beach hotels are located directly on the beach. You will not need to walk down the block or catch a shuttle to get to the beach. You can step outside these San Diego beachfront hotels onto the sandy beach. See panoramic sunsets right from your hotel. Walk hand-in-hand along the beach. http://www.sandiego-romantics.com/san-diego-beach-hotels.html
