I don't think so. The conclusion may be wrong, but only when the assumptions are invalid. Logic has so many uses, even entertainment like Sudoku. I get the right answers with that game when I use the rules of logic. Then again, I suppose the issue is to what are you applying logical thought? Human behavior defies rules of logic, for one.

If you can't baffle them with brilliance, tell 'em the logical thing is to hire a consultant. It's only logical to extend the extent of the problem to boost the old profit side of the ledger. The wrong conclusion will always net a second visit. So for all intents and purposes, you are correct.

if you start with givens that are incorrect and then correctly apply the logical method, you will definitely arrive at incorrect conclusions. but dont confuse those with illogical conclusions. all that logic requires is that A proves B and B proves C etc.
logic is like a computer .... if you put garbage in you get garbage out.

definite. i've got heard it as "The artwork of going incorrect with self assurance". it particularly is a toungue in cheek assertion that has some which means to it. To me, it factors to 3 human beings's blind faith in good judgment: Any end this is the end results of wonderful judgment represents an absolute certainty(i.e. God has in basic terms spoken) yet good judgment, being appropriate in itself, might desire to handle imperfect premises as that is imput. you like definitely genuine premises to reach at a very genuine end. Any doubt in the premises is additionally modern-day in the tip. the only definitely genuine premises we've are ones we define inclusive of a million inch = 2.fifty 4 centimeters or a biped has 2 legs. All different premises are in keeping with imperfect measurements and observations of the exterior international and are difficulty to 3 degree of doubt, whether small that doubt may be. rubbish in equals rubbish out applies to good judgment to boot as pocket calculators.
