If it is the original product key number that came with the computer it will either be on the back of the tower on a sticker and it will be 25 characters long or you should have received a manuel or an authentification paper with your system that will have the product key number on it other then that if you call your computer manufacture they will be able to provide you with one for you system.

if your trying to recover a windows xp key their should be a sticker on the side of your tower with the product key on it ( note only if your system originallly windows xp)
