Do you have proof that homophic men are losers and ugly faties? What about homophobic women?
Your question is stupid, you can't generalize everyone.
Besides, how is homophoby different than any other phoby?

Regretfully we raise our boys to be afraid of any sign of weakness in a man-- that includes crying, showing emotion, hugging, touching another man, except in sports, etc. They have been taught that weakness means they are not men. The question is: what is a man???? Most straight men have a hard time dealing with the idea that a gay man can be a foot ball player, much less a soldier. If a gay man can do that, what does that make them???? What a loss for all men!

Well it looks like the Gay man will for ever be true to save the world and Fight for Human rights while the Straight HOMOPHOBIC guy stands in the shadows, cry like a ***** and try to steal all the worthy credits the Gay man has earned. That's just like a COWARD! So what if Alexander the Great was Gay.....He was a GREAT MAN who fought great battles. He stood up for what believed in & was not bashing dignityn nor self esteem, he bashed in heads and let all who doubted him that he was a FORCE TO BE RECONED WITH!!!!

I think the problem is we describe our sexuality in terms of 'gay' or 'straight' which are not only restrictive in terms of what they mean as words but also their connotations for certain people. The truth of it all is we form our relationships based on some form of attraction and where we take that attraction depends on who we are having that relationship with and what we personally feel comfortable with. Some people like to make a lot of noise about opposing homosexuality, but when put under the slightest scrutiny their arguments are shown to be flawed and make no sense. However they still keep arguing and when frustrated will resort to violence. It is sad, but that's what irrational people are like. Let them stew in their own juices I say!

it because for some reason, society has sent out the image that REAL mean are supposed to be strong and not show any emotion towards other men. Take the 300 movie for example, the boys are trained at a young age to fight, not show any pain or emotions at all. The other guy who wore makeup and lots of jewelry ended up dying first before the buff guys.
people think that a guy is weak if he shows emotional feelings for both women and men. the guys who yell out the word "f*g" or "dyke" are doing it to show others that they are "men"
In my opinion, a "real man" is someome who stands up for what they believe in, even if others will think less of them.

Ancient Greece was open to homosexuals and Alexander was bisexual indeed. People have stereotypes deep scarred in their brains and cant accept the fact that a homosexual can actually fight and be brave and even more macho than them.
They have their own insecurities and the constant need to prove themselves macho as if anyone asked them to.

I don't think all men are homophobic, but I do notice that either my straight male friends treat me like "one of the guys" because I'm a lesbian OR they are seemingly overwhelmed by the fact that I can get a woman in bed just as easy, if not easier than them. I think it's part of the male DNA, and a large part of societies conditioning that men are raised "macho" and as the "stronger" sex...so therefore when a woman takes on that role, it's almost like men are being viewed as unnecessary, and that would make anyone feel threatened. If I were you, I'd surround myself with more cultured, open-minded persons.

Accepting fact is hard for most people. Those who accept the reality of any given situation tend to be happy and healthy (at least mentally) people. Those who deceive themselves with lies and fiction tend to be miserable and want to make everyone else around them the same.
Just pity them but don't put too much into them, they are so not worth the stress and grief.
