They seem to be attracted to all forms of Pondlife....

Pond dragon saliva. Now, pond dragons are extremely hard to find, but if you manage to, all you have to do is say "kuip" and it'll start drooling.
The saliva is perpetually shiny, and everyone knows trolls can't resist shiny objects. Since you had your pond dragon drool on the ground, the troll can't very well pick it up and go, so you have the perfect opportunity to throw a bag over its head and fell it like a tree!
Now, why you would want to catch a troll...I couldn't possible imagine.

Hmm, well, it is wildly believed that trolls eat people, but I have read a great amny Terry Pratchett novels, and he points out that humans as carbon based life forms eat other carbon based lifeforms, so a troll, a sillicone based life form would presumabley need other sillicone products to survive. So by that rationale, Jordan or Pamela Andersons huge sillicon barrage balloons would be a good lure, or perhaps just a nice bag of that stuff they put in packages to absorb any fluid.

Come to Norway and I'll show you, Mr Pond. Apparently, Billy Goats Gruff doesn't do the trick any more, since the country fell foul to the fast food industry. We could try our luck with Crown Princess Mette Marit or maybe a hotdog.

they usually like sleeping children, but the child could get hurt and well really we wouldnt want that to happen. so i would suggest maybe mandrake or pixie dust, or you could just try quality street because everybody loves them.
