Sasa means NOW and zamani means LONG TIME AGO.

You will also hear people using 'sasa' alot as a greeting. It is more or less used as a greeting slang to ask how you are.

The literal meaning of "sasa" is "now" but it is also used as a colloquial greeting and in this case would be the equivalent of saying "Hi!".....

"Zamani" means "in the past" and far as I know is only used in this context.....
