Well for a start Iraq's weak government would collapse. Iraqs neighbours would support one or the other extremist groups and all out civil war would break out. No doubt whoever Iran supports would eventually win power and it would be like the iranian revolution all over again.
Who knows what after that but the middle east would be even more dangerous to the west than now, i have a feeling that this sort of outcome would end in afghanistan where another Iraq scenario would happen and ultimately the west would lose its grip on the middle east.
I wasn't a big supporter of the war in the beginning but there is no way in hell that the US/UK can leave Iraq, and I hope to god that the allies win this one, because defeat is unthinkable in a world where extremist muslims threaten every corner of the globe.

What would happen in Iraq.... their civil/sectarian war would would continue. Eventually, one side or the other would achieve dominance, though that may be decades down the line. Other neighboring countries may pick sides and try to speed up the result.
What would happen in the Middle East.... largely nothing, except a lot of people in other countries would relax more. Some countries may choose to get involved in the Iraq civil war. See above.
In the world... even less. What we are doing in Iraq has very little effect on the rest of the world, except to make us look bad.
If all we care about is Iraq achieving a stable government, then we can pull out now and they'll do that just as fast, if not much faster, than they would with our military there.
On the other hand, if what we really care about is Iraq forming a stable government that we approve of, then there's a simpler solution than the current course of action.
Pull out. Let Iraq fight it out. Let anyone else who wants to join in. Once Iraq forms a new government, if we don't like it, we go in again and topple it, and tell them to try again. Repeat as necessary. See the link below for full details on this option.
This will take approximately the same amount of time as our current plan, and we'd suffer about 1% of the casualties compared to our current plan.

If we pulled out of Iraq right now Iraq would become nothing more than a puppet regime controlled by Iran. Not much would happen on a worldwide scale, I am sure terrorists would still continue to operate only they would find it easier to recruit due to us pulling out it would be a victory for them. Within two years Israel would get invaded by Iran/Iraq, which would force Israel to use nuclear weapons against Irans so called nuclear energy sites which would lay waste to most of the Middle East. Oil prices would sky rocket, and somehow it would all be Americas fault.
I could care less about the war in Iraq, I say if we arent going to do what it takes and we are going to let mindless people control how the military is used we may as well just not have them.

I do not like theName :OPERATION IRAQUI FREEDOM ....it is deceptive and assumes that the Iraqui"s asked for the assistance of the USA to rid them of bondage.
The conflict in the Middle East is as ancient as we can imagine.Family, tribe and religious geo -politics are the enemy of the Middle East. they have been fighting for 100's of years...
I will never be convinced that this war is nothing more than a struggle to "hold up" America's oil interests. Billions have been spent every week to "liberate" a people who wouldn't know our style of freedom if they had it, as we do not have the same cultural values .The money spent so freely there has a home...America, to rebuild the inner cities, educate our children, put music back in classrooms, give men and women jobs by re-building our bridges and highways and re-storing the confidence of the people of the south and other places who have been told that there is no money to do the things that need to be done there and other places.....and yes, to re-build America's defenses.
Does anyone ever wonder where the money to run this Iraq debacle comes from ? I do ...Money for that and nothing to fund the re-building and educating of America....There seems to be plenty for Iraq and nothing availiable for America......
Our southern border is a damn mess, illegals everywhere are sucking up our resources....Nothing is done, liberals are waving their pink flag while America suffers and justice continues to be blind to AMERICAs very own . Obvious Justice is deaf as well as blind........
I say , stop sucking on the middle eastern oil teet, redistribute the wasted monies to science and engineering ,create new forms of power....Re create the USA ....stop putting money into a place that gladly takes all that we give then turns around and uses it against us.......
I was for the assignment in Iraq when it started .Bush was adamant that there was WMD's there and whatever.......But , as time went by ,deaths mounted, and we didn't even know who the enemy was(who is the enemy? can't identify him) and truth came out I realized we all were fooled . Bush is as arrogant as he is un-wise..I wonder how he sleeps at night knowing that he has fuled the fire for Arrmagedon

If we just pull up and leave this week there will be bloodshed, bombings, fighting in the streets, assasinations. We can't allow that, can we? I mean it's so peaceful and prosperous now. Oh yes. All those Iraqis leaving to go to Syria and Jordan must be just going on vacation. Sure, they really want us to stay even though the polls show two thinds of the Iraqis of all allegiances want us to leave. Didn't they greet our arrival with cheers and flowers? didn't Bush already tell us long ago "Mission Accomplished"? Pulling out tomorrow will leave Iraq much as it is today.
You ask for my opinion. Here it is. America will be, like Switzerland, free and prosperous and peaceful when every last American serviceman is brought home from every last foreign American military base. Fix up our domestic problems. America first.

The immediate result would be full scale civil war.
Was against what you call "Iraqi Freedom" from the beginning as your governance had been setting up Saddam Hussein from waaaaaay back, and your governance had NO (legal) right to make war in the first place, it is a self-assumed right and a self-licensed war.

America must understand that the cannot make irqa as free as america and freedom has diffrent meanings in diff cultures.

The muslim extremists would end up having increased control of oil. Other countries in the middle east would be targeted. There would eventually be world wide recession and possibly depression as the extremists entities got more and more control of the oil. Whether you like it or not, it IS about the oil. You won't have enough fuel for your cars, you will wait in lines for fuel. You truly ain't seen nothin yet.

Iraq would likely fall into civil war... who knows what after that... civil wars are so messy it's like predicting the weather a year from now...
not likely to have much impact on the world...
much like Vietnam... we all weren't over run by communist when we left there...
but whenever we leave... now or in 20 years... a civil war seems inevitable..
