Because God says so...but you know what? f**k this imaginary being and all its funda-mental followers. I'm sick and tired of the religions they should all be banned, they cause all the trouble and pain anyway. Unless if "love" means: hate, kill, be a racist, be a homophobic, hate other religions, hate your neighbour and keep your eyes shut in their dictionary.

They should have the same rights. What do you define as "the same rights"? This need not and must not include changing the definition of the institution of marriage which has existed for centuries and is a stabilizing force in our country. Why change the definition of a word because a small minority demands it? They can have the same rights by signing documents which give those rights or perhaps society could honor civil unions between them which give them the same rights married couples have.

people still have trouble accepting gay people. the bible says its not normal to be gay. but since the begging of the world there have been gay men and women. have they really all chosen this road? i think not. we are people and we should be treated with the same respect. same rules for everybody!!!!

They SHOULD have the same rights. The key word is COUPLE, ignore the gay or non gay factor.

they do, they can write will, have power of attourney signed and do what they want. Gays have rights that any other citizens don't have.If somebody hits me because I'm straight, I can't charge them with a hate crime. Gays even have extra rights.
