hey i need help for pokemon firered rom?

well i need help is dat wen i play fire red rom in my visualboyAdvance i start it then it says 1M sub-circuit board not installed what does it mean i need help because i want to play fire red i aint desprete jus need help iight nd thx for anyone dat helps me good

Update to the latest version of VisualBoyAdvance if you haven't already. I think its version 1.8 Beta 3. I haven't had this problem.
