I think u will in time. At least u should, its good to mantain a friendly relationship with your ex even if u r not together anymore.

u should theres no reason why not my es and i broke up 3 yrs ago and to this day we r very good friends and talk to each other and stuff and we were one of those couples that were in love and what not so i c no reason why u shouldnt

There is no way that I can know whether you will or not, you don't provide enough info. about your status, if he lives by you, if you hate each other or are still friends, etc.
