Honor is acquired by living with honesty and treating others with love. Treating other people with kindness is an honorable act.. Being fair and just in dealings with others is an honorable act. I'm sorry you don't have a personal role model but adopt one. A spiritual leader or perhaps a local teacher frequently fills the role. You can do it and obviously want to do it or you wouldn't be asking about it. Good luck!

Your teachable and humble spirit sets you apart from the majority. You are a leader, not a follower. Trust in God, and apply God's word to every aspect of your life. The bible says that a righteous mans footsteps are ordered by the Lord. Do what is right at all times. Let your word be your bond. Lead by example. Surround yourself with positive people, places, and things, because there is negativity in being with people who refuse to live right. There are a lot of positive young people that you can be around, you have to seek them out. You are wise beyond your years to have enough foresight to know the things you know right now. Ask God for wisdom, and he will give it to you. Remember the words I say, because you are about to experience an awakening in your spirit man. Trust God, not man.

Honor is defined by each individual person differently......
In my opinion honor is doing the right thing even when you don't want to, or standing up for your beliefs in the face of opposition, or helping those in need without thought to ones self.... It truly is subject to each individual and cannot be pigeon holed into one definition....for each person that answers this question will you will get a different answer.

"Protect" the dignity of others.
Find your meaning and your purpose in the surrounding you are living in. It might be just you as a human being who is needed there to make "the" difference. To fulfil your purpose and inner calling as a man and human being, will bring you honor. For this you just need to trust your inner voice. A person who asks such a question, can rely and trust his inner voice. God bless you.

If you are not surrounded by positive role models, then you need to not be around them. That is always the first problem, leading to peer pressure. And being afraid is not an option. ("If your sitting with devils, it is better to stand and leave."-J.J.H.) Or just do what I try to do, Live by example. If your friends want you to do something you don't want to or are against. Just don't it. (This will test your friends) And if they chastise you, well, then you know where you stand with them, (Lackey to them)but if they RESPECT your decision, then you know where you stand with them. (Friend to them, even under pressure.)

Do what you know to be right.
Refuse to do what you know to be wrong.
When you're not sure which is which, don't go ahead.
Tell the truth with kindness.
Do what you can to help others.
And, remember, honor is not what others think of you, is it much more what you think of yourself. But try not to be too hard on yourself!
Also, try to accomplish something worthwhile while you are on earth. However, it may take some time to learn what this is.

Do what makes you happy. Do what fulfills you. Live up to your expectations and standards and no one else's. Live life purely on human terms.
Disregard the quicksand of 'selflessness' and 'pity' and 'community service' and 'morals'. Instead of offering everything you have to the world, offer one thing and one thing only. That thing is up for you to decide what is it. Artists create. Warriors fight. Emperors rule. Philosophers think. Thieves steal. Beggars beg. That is honor.

Do what feels right, if someone needs help, stop and help them.
Always tell the truth, you won't feel any guilt and people will respect you a little more.
Be a good friend.
Listen to people.
Ask what's wrong if someone's sad or crying.
Be tolerant and patient, there is a difference.
Never insult anyone.
Don't hate anyone.

Judge not turn the other cheek and love your neighbors, no exceptions.
Most of us have known this since we were small children but we just don't practice it.
Love and blessings Don
