Republicans never seem to care about te detreriorating forests or global warming. But this is everyone's Earth. Why can't we shift this topic from politics and have everyone care for our planet?

To not cut down a tree or to reduce fossil fuel consumption would hurt them in the wallet as that is the base for their largest campaign contributors.

Democrats have been screaming approximately worldwide warming for years yet you spotted whilst the democratic occasion controlled the White residing house and had a filibuster evidence majority interior the residing house and Senate They never tried to bypass any environmental costs in any respect, no cap and commerce, no longer something. They waited till they lost the filibuster evidence majority, till now they tried something, whilst they knew the costs could fail.

The energy companies are powerful groups in the repubs party... they will lose money if they support environmentalism,,,
and the christians say that god put the earth her for man to use...

That's an overgeneralization.
Many Republicans care about the environment, and many are active in causes that promote, protect and support the environment.
Don't blame an entire group because of a few obvious counter- examples.

No, it is NOT "everyone's earth." The earth is divided up into parcels, each of which someone OWNS because he or she PAID FOR IT with his or her OWN MONEY.
If you feel strongly about how that land is used, then you save up your money and buy it. But you're not satisfied with that. You feel a need to impose your aesthetics upon everyone else, and so you claim it's "our" world and "our environment." It's not. It's just selfish brats like yourself trying to dictate to the rest of us that we have to use our property the way you would want us to.

I am a life-long conservative, and with all due respect, you have *no* idea what you are talking about. I have yet to meet a single Republican who wants to thrash the planet.
