You know, you are right. It is impressive that Bill and Hillary stayed married- with the morals displayed these days, most couples would have divorced.
The Clintons represent what a real family is all about! It ain't easy!

If that bulldog gets your vote for Saint hood then you haven't the slightest idea what Saint hood is. This is a marriage of convenience. Billy Bob coming into office had already had a mistress for several years, Jennifer Flowers. Hillary knew that but chose to look the other way. Why? They feed off each other, need each other to get where their going. If Hillary had the sense to get rid of him he most definitely would have been married and divorced many times by now. But why divorce when you have a wife that lets you have your cake and eat it too. The Monica episode, Hillary took it so far as to announce to the whole world it was a right wing conspiracy. Even cover his sorry a%* rather then loose what power she figured she had. She lost all my respect because its telling women put up with anything, forfeit you pride, self esteem and let your husband do what ever he wants. Shame on Bill, Shame on Hillary, power should never be that important.
Now if that's what you want in a Politician, this country is in sad shape.

Bill is the most blameless among these sinners. Saints, like Bill, often endure suffering and persecution and that is good, for it furthers their spiritual development.
The Gringrich that stole Bill's innocence also lied and perjured himself. Newt lied by omission, by failing to be forthcoming and confessing his sin to an always forgiving American public and People Magazine.
Newt knowingly perjured himself to Mr, and Mrs, America by not echoing that soulful cry that originates from time to time from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. That cry is "I have sinned". I'm sure you have heard it. We never know when those dreaded words will drift out from the bayou, we never know when we will be asked once again to forgive.
Newt should have prostrated himself before America and confessed, " I have sinned." He did not.
Of all the politicians mentioned here, Bill is probably the most faithful to his baptismal vows. So let us raise a glass of grape juice, and toast that new American political Saint, Bill Clinton.

The difference between the Clintons and the Republicans is that the Clintons are on equal footing in their relationship. Bill relies on Hilary just as much as she relies on him.
Gingrich, McCain, and the rest of Republicans however have a different old fashioned approach to their relationships. They all married conservative women who would make them look good in front of the public and during their social events. They never allowed their wives to speak about any issues or have an opinion. I am sure these women wanted to have the luxury of showing their husbands and the rest of the public that they were capable of more than just child rearing and picking out ties for their husbands. In fact, they probably grew tired of it and only stayed in the marriage for the money. Once they saw a way out, they jumped on it and took their portion of the assets. I believe you could classify them as women scorned.

no longer a saint. yet because of the fact the others could categorize it, they "made a mistake, or 2, or 3." What gets me are all of Newt's appearances throughout the time whilst the Repubs have been making waiting the impeachment.....and all of the different 'organic little pubs' shaking their palms and wagging their tongues. "this type of scandal!!" they could muse......it is in simple terms the initiating of direction. Newt. this type of previous phony. this type of hypocrit! (in spite of whether he defines it as such). they're all a gaggle of attractive previous canines. shame on all of them that all of us be attentive to approximately, and those we are able to discover out approximately later... (whilst i pick a sturdy snigger, I in simple terms think of Newt. In speedos. right this moment. Scrambling down the sea coast. finding for some hotties.,omg)

SAINT?
Well, no. He sold us down the river.
Not as far down the river as this current crowd, but still.
I don't much care for Hillary -- she's much too right-wing for me.

What's pathetic is how Dobson and the boys are ready to forgive in Newt that for which they have attacked anyone and everyone they could.
The Fundies and the hypocrites who lead them....
Disgusting.

That is REALLY sick. He is a liar, adulterer, and an alleged rapist. There is NO Sainthood for him even if it was just one of the above.
You liberals have so few people of character in your party that you want to make Bill a saint. Pathetic.
