I would as massage is certainly a big contibutor in removery for cats and dogs esp after orthropedic surgery. We do lots of manipulation / massage post surgery. HOWEVER I would only take it to someone who has had formal training in either physio for humans or has a background in veterinary science/nursing as you can cause more damage if done incorrectly.

I went and did a course on this for horses (and the same principles apply to all animals). Cost me a fortune. Never made a dime at it. Most average people will not spend the money on a massage for their animals. Chiropractic yes, in some cases. Massage no. A few of the horse people will call you and after a few times of them seeing how easy it is, they will do it themselves and you are out a customer. I think massage is a great thing, but it was also a fad that pretty much has run its course.

Location, Location, and did I mention Location.
Around here you would not last long. We are a agricultural community and poor at that. People do not take there pets in for massages around here.
As a horse groomer we had a professional animal massager come in and teach us, it was a disaster. I did not mind for I got paid for it lol! But some of the other groomers one in particular started slapping a horse (this was a show horse worth more then many houses around here). She got us all in trouble with that.
Anyhoo location is the key. If you are in a town, city whatever who does this kind of thing you will probably make a fortune if you go in with someone who has a doggie day care, or a private kennel.
Good luck with your new adventure.

Some people might. The key is WHERE you have your business. It would probably tank if you live in a small farming community.
If you set up shop in in the very rich urban areas of Beverly Hills, Palm Springs, New York, Toronto, or Vancouver, etc. it may do just fine.
The key is location. If you promote it well to the right client base, it may work.

I don't have the money to get myself a massage, so my pets won't be getting one either. But if I had lots of money, if there was like a dog daycare, or boarding facility that offered it for an extra fee I might consider it.

Molly's Massages is the 1st element that got here to concepts. lol. Kinda undeniable and you probable seem to be a everyday rubdown place, till you made the 'o' in molly a canines paw. One question nevertheless, Who do you think of is going to pay you to rubdown their canines?

Sorry, I don't think so. I'd rather have a massage myself. But if you are in a chic area of NYC, you could try it!
