... I am a registered Republican, but would give Bill Richardson serious consideration due to his economic policy and fiscal restraint. Hillary is obviously very polarizing, and Biden/Dowd are too far left for most moderates. Barak is campaigning on a very positive message, but his short Congressional voting record shows scant little deviation from the Dem party line.

Are there any other Dem candidates that have any appeal for moderate but "right-leaning" voters? Who and why?

Not any of the current candidates, but if Lieberman ran, I would definitely consider voting for him.

I am a card-carrying Libertarian...however, if I did restrict myself to the two parties I would give Bill Richardson and Wesley Clark a fair look.

right now i don't think that i could vote for any one running but if the republicans don't get someone to vote for then i may have a problem there too

Maybe Richardson, but since he is reasonable, he has no chance of being nominated.

We observed what got here approximately while Bush tried to "artwork the middle" and build bridges between the events. The dems ambushed him. till libs how you will compromise, you are able to forget approximately it.
