I'm looking to buy a new swimsuit from speedo. In your opinion, which one fits well, is comfortable, and lasts long? I need a good one for a competitive swimmer who will be swimming for 5 days a week in the summer.

Will choose best answer!

well is this going to be for for a male or female?

Also, if this is a suit for practices, which i am assuming it is because there is a suit that is bought specifically for competition, then you do not need to worry too much about fit and that. In all actuality swimmers, often tend to use 2 "ratty" suits, generally one "loose" suit on top while practicing as it is used for "pull".... and one tigher one on the bottom.

However, every competitor is different..

Also there is no way to say which is more comfortable based on a brand or style...not to mention without the person trying it on...

here is a link to show you the basic suit that is comfortable and is all that is needed for her if indeed a female.... it will last the entire summer, 5 days a week and is perfect for practices and well worth the money...and for the money i would pick up 2 of them to wear together.

You should only be spending the high dollar amount for the team suit only...2 suits= big dollar..the rest are "play clothes"..

I really like the Endurance flyback suits... I think they're mostly if not 100% polyester. They don't stretch or fade or anything like that, so if you order suits a size smaller so they're really tight, I wouldn't suggest doing that! My team gets them every year for our practice and meet suits, and the only thing that happened to the one I got in October of '05 was the lining getting some holes in it (I eventually ripped it out in January of this year... and the suit is still wearable)... but that was also after wearing it for meets all of the 05-06 season, practice 3-4 days a week in the spring and summer, and practice 8ish times a week all of this season.

All suits at last fall apart with the chlorine and sunlight. Lycra alternatives, and crumbles quicker than polyester, yet polyester isn't as stretchy and dermis tight for racing. My suggestion is, whether that's a summer season league that they are competing in, purely get something which will final. summer season leaguers have a tendency to abuse swim suits via sliding their butt around on concrete on a similar time as sitting down, enjoying on swing gadgets between races. no ought to pass shell out $40 greenbacks on something that isn't final the summer season. Swim shops can advise you on that and it sounds as though with the different posts that speedo has taken the time to a minimum of variety a journey "staying power" hoping to a minimum of promote it to persons ill of buying for a clean journey each couple of months. possibly no ensures that it's going to final longer nevertheless, purely like various the different new and better products on the marketplace. the final element to do to make a journey final is to rinse it usual in chilly faucet water after use and save the youngsters butt off of tough surfaces. in case you may get your youngster to try this it may final 2 seasons and additionally you possibly have the main magnificent parenting qualifications interior the international. solid success

It's true, competitive swimmers wear their "drag" or ratty suits to practice in. I buy most of my suits at meets. They usually sell them there for better prices, and you can see what you're getting.

Also, rinsing suits in clean water after practice makes them last longer....the chlorine eats through them fast.
