I've been hypnotized. It was at a hypnosis show where the hypnotist hypnotized about 20 of us volunteers from the audience. It is all basically a blur to me... That sounds a lot like what you went to. The guy who hypnotized us did say you could be hypnotized from the audience. The first year I went a girl across the aisle from me was doing some of the things the people on stage were doing (I was hypnotized the second time I went.) Also, the people filming the show couldn't look directly into the camera because they might get hypnotized too! Yeah, that's basically what it feels like--your eyes and hands, especially, get heavy. You're able to think straight and normally the whole time, too. A lot of people think you are just, like, a different person when you are hypnotized, but you're not. For example, to test myself, I thought, "Oh, I have a math test tomorrow (which I did)... I'm sitting on this chair on a stage right now but I don't even care!" Stuff like that.
So to answer your question...YES. Even if it were at a minor level, you definitely were. Trust me. When people say, "Oh, you probably just fell asleep," they are KIND OF right in a way. Hypnosis is really just a stage of sleep. You pass through two stages of hypnosis every night before falling asleep.
You should volunteer to be hypnotized, it's really fun! :)

If you're familiar with hypnosis, then you've no doubt heard of Master Hypnotist Steve G. Jones. His book, "Ultimate Conversational Hypnosis" has been voted as the best hypnosis course ever made. The book is also available in electronic format at: http://www.hypnosistocontrol.net
If you want to get an edge in everyday communication and lead other people towards your goals this is a must read.

You were probably all in at least a light trance,it's far from uncommon for people to go into hypnosis watching a stage-show,its almost like a"domino effect"it works on 1,so it works on another and so on and so on,especially if you're susceptible to hypnosis anyway

under hypnosis,,you will only do what you want to do,,,,they cant made you do something you don't want to.. when your eyes got heavy,,,you were being hypnotized by relaxation. Your friends were probably really relaxed,,you don't have to concisely remember,,,hypnosis works on the sub-conscience level.
