Okay, this is a very weird question that requires some explanation. Two years ago today I went on a first date with a girl and saw the movie Constantine. Last year, I bought her (then my fiancee) The Ring 2 for our first anniversary. Now we're married, and in order to continue the tradition we wanted to watch another movie that had something in common with the other two: in both Constantine and The Ring 2, a character drowns in the bathtub. So this evening we saw Ginger Snaps, and though the drowning takes place in the opening credits and isn't real, it still counts.

So, for next year's movie, we need suggestions. Anyone?

Interesting tradition, if I didn't know that there were more scary movies coming out I would give a few names, but you two ought to look up an up coming list of movies to be released. Most on-line dvd movie release lists tell the movies that are being released from now into early next year. Good luck!

Dead Alive - One of Peter Jackson's first films. The bathtub drowning doesn't come in until the very end, but if you choose this one, prepare yourself. It has been reviewed as "the goriest fright film of all time." Enjoy!

In the films I saw these folks die in tubs but they weren't drowned.

Fatal Attraction: Haven't seen it in awhile but doesn't she come back to life and then he stabs her and she dies in the tub?

Leo lo: foreign film about a little boy with a very active imagination. I recommend it if you have a sick sense of humor. His uncle was "playing" with himself in the tub and a radio gets knocked in with him.

Edit: I forgot about my favorite movie. The Joy Luck Club. The baby drowns in the tub. The mom was upset about her husband cheating and treating her bad so she takes the only thing he values away from him; his son.
