I did a 200 square foot deck last fall and it cost me about $1600 for materials. It was approx. 2 feet off the ground. I did the labor myself. Hope this helps.

That would all depend on the type of wood, the location, the design, the hand rail. It would be tough to give you an estimate. You can figure out the square footage (168sqft) plus the steps and the hand rail then multiply it by the cost of the lumber in sq/ft. You may want to consider using the new plastic impregnated wood. That way you'll not have to stain it or seal it in the future. The maintenance would really drop, an help to cover the extra cost of the installation.
