Where do you look to see what hardware your computer has?

I just bought and older model dell laptop, but I don't know where to go to find out what it has inside of it like hard drive and memory.

Start>Control Panel>System>Hardware>Device Manager

Also,
Start>Run
Type dxdiag.exe and hit Ok, This will open DirectX Diagnostic Tool and will show you your Processor, Memory, Display Card and Audio Card.

Right-click "My Computer"
Choose "Properties"
Look for "Hardware" or "Device Manager" depending on the version of Windows it has.
