I'm not talking about the brake lights. It's the rear lights (the ones that turn on when you turn on your headlights to drive at night). The brake lights work fine, but rear lights won't turn off. Any ideas? It's a Subaru. Any silly comments about sending the car to an excorcist will be flagged lol. Thanks guys!

I know what you said, but you need to recheck it. Have someone sit in your car, while it is running. Have them apply the brakes and then release the brakes. It has to be the brake lights that are staying on. The reason for this is the brakelight switch that is actuated by the brake pedal is broken and staying on. There is no logical reason for the circut that also includes your headlamps to be doing this as you state. So please recheck it. I drive my cars a lot of miles, and I have had two cars that had this problem. Not trying to be disagreeable, just trying to help.

You have an electrical nightmare. Try wiggling the light to wire connection if that's not it you should take it to the shop so they can hunt it down its cheaper than boosts and new batteries. Or you could pull the fuse just remember to put it back in when you use the car.
