what are some signs that a baby/toddler has mental problems, or if something is wrong with it??

If someone has that much reason to be concerned, then it should be brought to the attention of the child's pediatrician ASAP. The sooner problems are diagnosed, if in fact there are any, the better the chances for successful treatments and outcomes.

It would depend on the type of problems that she might have; some mental deficits are evident at birth; others take time to be obvious. If you are concerned, then you should definitely get the baby to a doctor; they can do an evaluation to determine if she is progressing normally.

I would definitely check with your doctor. You could maybe do research on Autism on the internet, BUT it won't be able to help you like your pediatrician can. If you reallt think there's a problem, there's all kinds of tests he can do to help diagnose her, or to tell you that there's nothing wrong!

I don`t know. I`m not her mom. YOU are. What is her behavior like? If you are worried, go see her pediatrician.

Why would you think that. If your child was mentally disabled most likely they would have told you at birth or the first few weeks of their life.
