a hybrid or a midas. They say pure red devils have fleshy lips which he does. They say the midas has black eyes and the red devil has red eyes. But his eyes are mostly black, with an incomplete circle of mostly red with yellow at the tip. Please tell me what kind of red devil or midas this is?

Since both can have some red in their eyes It would be very difficult to tell as a juvenile. Odds are good you will just have to wait on it to grow some more before you'll know for sure. My bet would be on the devil though as they usually have the larger lips and more color in their eyes.

not to sure but , i had a red devil and she was a awsome fish! they are very pretty. good luck..jewels
