I have set up a Stock Portfolio to track various stocks using Yahoo.

I can only view this portfolio on one particular computer. If I log in to my yahoo account using any other computer, I cannot locate the portfolio and the website begins the process of starting a new portfolio.

When I return to the original computer, I can find it without any problem. And yes, the computers are identical.

Why can't I view this on any computer that I choose as long as I'm logging in as the same user?

When you log onto a new computer, be sure to check the little box that asks to remember you. If you've already done that, after logging in just go immediately to the home Finance page and see if your portfolio is listed. If not, I have to question whether the computer you are using might have some kind of blocking software... although you mention that the computers are identical, check the security software installed and see if both were installed exactly the same way. If the problem persists, I'd send an e-mail to Yahoo to see if they can correct the problem. Good luck.

Check on the website to see if you need a special viewer to view your potfolio.
Many with charts and streaming require JAVA.
Others require small utilities to view.
You may have the utility to view that page on one computer but not the other.
Read the requirements for that page..
