even with a router, i doubt you can steal other peoples Internet, because you still need a user name and password

It's not a router, go to wiki and look up what a wireless router is..
What it is a Wireless PCI/usb/pcmcia card with a antenna, such as an extended or yagi antenna.
As for stealing the internet, that is where sniffing the packets come in. But nearly 87% of the time you dont need to do that as the owners of the AP don't even have a password (WEP/WPA) in place.

groovy baby... but i think you can afford to get your own internet connection. the signal will probably be bad if you neighbor's house is far from yours.
so c'mon, spend those couble of bucks and get yourself an internet connection. stealing is not wise, ask people who live in south africa

it is called a router, and you don't buy one, the people who own the internet have to have one and you have to have a wireless card in your laptop or desktop.
