Any solvent should work. Be sure and rewash your hands with warm soap and water after using any solvent based material. Contact 3m adhesive company and see if they make a putty remover. I found this on the web. 3M; Adhesive Remover, 738. Check automotive paint and bodyshop supply stores.

I used pine-sol rub some on your hands let it sit awhile it should peel off easily. It smells nice and won't irritate your skin like other chemicals.

call me a redneck . I use gas . but I wipe the gas off quickly and then wash my hands with GOOP.
