Do you like stone walls in the countryside?

I absolutely love them, especially the old, weathered, sometimes crumbling stone walls partially covered by clinging vines. There's something very endearing about them. Your question took me back to my childhood summer vacation home where there was a stone retaining wall where my grandfather would plant flowers every summer. Thanks for the trip down memory lane:)

Yes and they are beautiful to look at in the countryside. It makes country look picturesque! It reminds me of walking down memory lane to where I was born and raised. The wild flowers blooming in the cracks of the weathered stone walls. Also the weathered look and wild vines growing up through the crevices...it is so awesome....I can say its just the wonder of nature!!

I am glad you asked this question, even if it is just to point out to people in the towns and cities that stone walls are there to keep farmers stock in the field and they are not just piles of rocks for people to take home.

I have two "dry" stone walls (no mortar) on my property that I built myself. It took three years, but they were well worth the effort!

Yes and in this day and age its a wonder there are still so many, they must take a lot of work to maintain
