I woke up this morning having cramping pains. I got up and went to the bathroom and found out that I had started my period. (Which is about 4 days late.) About an hour later I had a sharp pain in my lower abdimon area. But after that I felt fine. I went to the bathroom again to change my tampon about another hour after, before I left to go run some errends and when I wiped I found this bloody fleshy membrane on the tiolet paper. I have been on birth control for about a month and I'm on antibiotics for 2 infections, which I have been on for 7 days. I did have sex about 2 weeks ago. Did I miscarry?

If you were pregnant and miscarried, you wouldn't know. The embryo would still be too small to see. The only way to possibly find out is to see your doctor

If you miscarried youd be bleeding, A LOT! Ive never miscarried and ive had the same thing, your period is the shedding of the lining of the uterus, so its not umcomon to get what looks like a fleshy substance. Its most likely the lining of your uterus and the fact that you were a lil late makes for a killer period. It happens. Also, the fetus would have been no bigger than a spec, so thats one more reason to say you didnt miscarry.

Its possible. You should go to your doctor and find out, You don't want to get an infection if anything is left in there. And you need to know what went wrong if you did. I have RH negative blood and my husband has RH positive, thats why we lost our first baby.
Just go and find out. It could be just a heavy period.
Good luck
And you don't have to bleed alot to miscarry I only spotted a little at first. Then it gradually got worse till I had a D&C then it stopped.

It could be that you miscarried but a embryo would be smaller than a grain of rice so you couln't have seen it but it probably was a blood clot but to know if it was a miscarriage you need to see a doctor right away

It's probably normal. Ask ur doc. If ur 2 wks prego it'd be small. You also could have a cyst which can cause those sharp pains, I know this because I had one [ if it's more to one side by ur ovary and consistant] Ask the doc! goodluck!God bless~

When you first start birth control, your periods will act differently than ever before. Sometimes you will have a heavy heavy very clotty period, the clots are typically tissue lining from your uterus, and sometimes you will have a light almost non existant period. I wouldn't be concerned about it having been a miscarriage.

You need to see the doctor - they are the only ones that can accurately diagnose a miscarriage. It could just be a tough period. I would call your doctor's office on Monday!
