I just bought a Motorola C500 bluetooth headset and i'm having problems getting it to work right. I know the headset works because i paired it up with my friend's phone and it works great. I paired it up and it recognized the device and all, but when someone calls in and i hear the ring in my ear, i push the button and from then on I have to talk on the phone. I can't hear anything in the earpiece. I know it's a setting on my phone that I just haven't figured out yet. I have even went back to the default settings but that didn't help. I also have an extended battery if that makes any difference. Thanks in advance for any advice.

You have to go through a sync procedure the first time you use a blue-tooth device with your phone. It's in the blue tooth menu, something about trusted devices. Read your manual as it's not very simple.
