Do you mean only in TV/Movies or that were books before they became TV/movies.
If the first, then Gil Grissom from C.S.I.
If the second, I like Sherlock Holmes the best, with Nero Wolf a close second.

Lily Rush (played by Kathryn Morris) in 'Cold Case' This has to be one of the best shows on TV ~ She (Lily) is an amazing detective with a 'sixth sense' post the deceased 'situation'
