Depends on how big and deep the cut! If its a pretty good one and its not stopping after 20 min, its constantly leaking blood then call the doc....see what they say. If its really pourin and its been 10 min and not letting up...go to the ER! If its oozing tiny bits but just not stopping..its ok! This is what my kids always do...my 16mth old has busted his lip so many times because of the way he sucks his passifier but they will be ok if its tiny bits. If anythign else I wish you all the best! Kisses to your little one!

depends where it is, a small cut on the limbs or torso should stop bleeding within fifteen minutes. If it's a cut on the back of the hands or the face (other than the lip which can split and still be ok) and it's more than an inch wide or half an inch deep, don't wait the fifteen minutes, apply pressure and take them to get stitches as soon as possible because those areas can lose alot of blood very quickly which is especially dangerous for infants who just don't have as much blood to spare.

Hmmm, seems like the wound should clot eventually. But a band-aid on.
