Yes, it is possible that you got a false negative. Since your period isn't really late yet, I would wait a few more days. If you are pregnant, you may not have high enough levels of hcg for the test to detect. The best thing is to stay calm while waiting, although I know it may be stressful. Also, if you do find out you're pregnant, you need to see the doctor right away since you've had bleeding. If you would like to know asap, then go to a clinic and get a blood test done (some do them for free, just call around). This will tell you for sure.

yes even if the pregnancy test registers neg. a person can be positive! but in Lu of the fact that you had bled as much as you said you did ! unless it was the first time you have had intercourse, than would almost be inclined to think that with the massive bleeding you had a miscarriage, that would explain the feelings you might have of being pregnant! because as far as your body knows you still are ! it takes the body a little longer to realize that it,s not!if this is the first time that you have had intercourse than it is normal to bleed alot and of course you feel different ,because you are becoming a women and you are going to experience some cramping and discomfort after because the tissue that was guarding the entrance to the vault! was basically torn and needs to heal where it was damage!

Honey old are you? You sound so young. I would get an appointment with your GYN and they can run a blood test to find out. Some of the over the counter tests you need wait 10-14 days to get results. If your very young you may need to tell your parents to see one, many states allow 16yr olds and other states 14 yr olds to be seen without notification of a parent. I was 18 with my first child and was scared crazy to tell my mom. I've known females that had a light period their entire pregnancy. I was two month along on my last and final pregnancy when I suddenly gushed blood, no cramps either, I had miscarried my twin boy. Don't worry I'm alright about it, God had other plans for him and his sister makes up for both of them.

There is always a chance the test was wrong. The best time to take a test is after you know you missed your period.
Your body could just be all out of wack becuase of the traumatic ride it just went through.
Your best bet is to take the test again first thing in the morning when you get up, and if you're still feeling funny call a doctor.

eenee meene mini mo.... ur answer is.. lOL just joking! No but fa real... I think you should take another test. Also, its a fact that drinking alot of water before you pee can dilute it and change the result to negative, so how about drink however much you want the night before, then the next morning drink nothing and take a test right away- with first morining pee! Then look at it, and goodluck!

You could be pregnant, but something else could be seriously wrong.
It sounds more like breakthru bleeding, and did the ER tell you why you had so much bleeding after sex?
I would head to the OB and get some information about why you bleed after sex. That's not a sign of pregnancy at all.

so unless u took the test to close to your missed period. it sounds like its all in your mind. in this day and time pregnancy tests (unless u are on med's that would alter) they are on point with the results. The hormones should have came through whether you drank all that or not. But your best bet is to take it again first thing in the morning off your first urine(of the day).

yes pregnancy tests can show a false negative. you need to go to a doctor and have them test you. when i got pregnant i knew right away. I had the signs, but deep in my heart i just knew. Actually it happened both times i got pregnant, but unfortunately i had two miscarriages.

Unfortunatly, unless you go in to the doctor for a pregnancy test, you'll have to wait a week or two.
