I have played runescape for about 2 years, now all of a sudden I am getting generic virus from the game, how do I stop these as I really want to continue playing. PLease help, thanks.

il fill in this one. i USED to play runescape but not anymore, but when i was playing it i used anti virus programs. The anti virus programs i would reccomend for you to use are ad aware se personal since this deletes virus hackers sends to you and also norton anti virus which is highly reccomended.

If your trying to scare ppl its not working i see that u are lying because the only thing that runescape uses is JavaScript so if it is really a virus then check ur java either way your trying to prevent people from playing because Runescape is on the internet other than something like Limewire which also runs on JavaScript but can get a virus because your downloading something but still YOU CANT GET A VIRUS FROM RUNESCAPE. Your probably using macros which have viruses.

Runescape won't give you a virus. You probably have accidentally downloaded it from somewhere else. Try going to http://www.grisoft.com/doc/downloads-products/us/crp/0?prd=triavw and downloading the AVG anti-virus trial. If you do have a virus, it will heal it, as well as other problems with your computer.

well, dude, lessson to this closely. 2 years ago, i plaed ruenscape, and it was perfectly normal at first, no popups, nada. then one day my computer jsut mysteriously crashed. my parents blamed it all on me. when i asked my friends, none of them ever said they got virus from plaing, even tho they play 24/7, with a ghetto firewall like mine. now i got a new comp, i plaed for like, 2 month of runescape now, and nothing really cameup. so, basicly, it's like gambling. u get virus, or u don't. depends on ur luck is how i put it. and get officescan and avg, or sbc yahoo dsl zonealarm firewall. if the virus is big tho, u gotta reboot and recover ur comp. good luck

the viruses arnt from runescapesomething else infected your computer trust me.... to get rid of the crap on ur comp delete all your cookies
