Canada changed this morning, but Mexico did not.

This means that in most of Mexico (but not the state of Sonora) they will be an hour further behind the US. In places like Tijuana, Ciudad Juarez, and the Rio Grande valley, with lots of cross-border commerce, the stores in Mexico will seem to open one hour later.

More than likely, the Mexicans will correct their Daylight Time observance in line with the new American system. Either that, or for the next three weeks shop owners in border areas will just have to open one hour earlier than before, so as to keep up with their Yanqui customers.
