Should I start wearing makeup?

I am 13 about to be 14 in 2 months, I don't really need it, but my face is not perfect

If I could go back in time, i don't think i ever would have worn makeup. Yeah, at first, it makes you feel beautiful, and sometimes people even compliment you. But after a while, you start breaking out and getting zits, and then they're EXTREMELY hard to get rid of. My opinion...don't wear makeup, or at least not yet.

Like everyone else said, I'm sure youre beautiful and that you dont need makeup. I dont really think that 13, 14 is too young for a little makeup. Just dont overdo it. If you feel like your skin isnt perfect, you can use some concealer. Maybe some mascara too.

Well, I think lip gloss would be fine, that is what I started out on when I was 13 or 14, I really don't put on make-up it kinda makes some people look like clowns because they don't put it on right (I mean putting on too much. Watch "The Drew Carey Show" Mimi Bobek.)

You are old enough to decide if you need Makeup. If you feel you need or want to, start with a little bit. Maybe some foundation and blush. Don't go over board. People might think you want to grow up too fast.

I only wear make up when i go to parties and during school pictures...even then the only thing i wear is lipgloss and some powder so my face doesn't get oily. I suggest that you don't wear make up because many girls in my class wear make up and this one girl didn't wear it to school one day and she looked like she was sick cause her face was so pale. Once people get used to seeing you with make up, you have to wear make up all the time or else you will look really bad without it.

well... i say go along with your natural face as long as you can, but if you really want to wear make-up, then you should wear lip gloss and maybe a little bit of blush. If you're looking for a little more, then you can add eye shadow that blends in with your skin.
since you're still young, you don't need much make-up.

To be honest, you shouldn't start wearing tonnes of make up.
It WILL ruin your face, and you will wind up needing it more than you did before you started wearing it.
My suggestion is that you wear it lightly, around three days a week, no more, and when you remove it, use a gentle face wash.

And remember, no woman really needs make up. We're all beautiful xxx

Well obviously most people
that answered are old.
I'm 16 but when I was 13
I wore black eyeliner
had big black eyelashes
and wore foundation to make my skin look more clean.
Eyeshadow is like 2 years ago..
DO NOT WEAR IT.
Lipgloss is a plus too.
You see, no need to be naive
but I definately think that you should
wear make-up
when I started wearing make-up I got
so much more attention and
became VERY popular.
Common kids these days
don't look at personalitys they look at whos hot.

I would say wait until you're 17/18 before you start doing that. Glitter and lip gloss is alright and cute, but seriously, who are you trying to impress? You're still a kid, don't try to grow up so fast. Unless you feel pressured by society to do it, then whatever floats your boat.

uhm...i started wearing a very little amount of make up in 6th grade i started to wear mascara, eyeshadow, lipgloss. and thats about it.
in 7th grade i wore mascara,eyeshadow,lipgloss and a little bit of brown eyeliner.
in 8th grade i wear , mascara, concealer, blush, bronzer, eyeshadow, lipgloss, and black or pretty much any color eyeliner. it may sound like a lot but as long as you put small amounts in the right places it looks fine. just dont make it look too drastic or over-board.
